It resonates with our vision of empowering the underprivileged to embark from a humble beginning and soar towards infinite horizons, with pride accompanying them on each and every flight.
On 22 June 2024, The Club commemorated the two decades of remarkable accomplishments of the Community outreach & Charity Programme and announced the establishment of The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Charitable Foundation (a S.88 charity with effect on 19 June 2024).
With the establishment of the Charitable Foundation, the Club will be able to implement its charitable works and community services on a much larger scale, achieving far-reaching impact.
The board of directors comprises a group of passionate professionals dedicated to charity, including Immediate Past Chairman Mr Huen Wong SBS BBS JP ( as Chairman), Club Chairman Dr Jack WK Wong (as Treasurer), Mr Mark Chan and philanthropic advocacy veterans Mrs Cheung-Ang Siew Mei JP and Mr Lo Bing Chung.

In line with the Club’s mission of ‘giving back to society’, the Foundation is committed to sharing resources, creating opportunities, and empowering the underprivileged through sports training and activities to excel and help each other. Donate To Support Tai Po Fire Victims
Support for Tai Po Fire Victims
In the wake of the Wang Fuk Court fire, wide‑ranging community relief efforts have been launched to aid those affected. The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Charitable Foundation pledged HK$1 million immediately, with HK$200,000 directed at once to SideBySide’s emergency services for residents temporarily housed at their “Good House.” We invite you to join us in extending care, comfort, and hope to families as they rebuild their lives.

We are profoundly grateful to our members for their extraordinary generosity in response to the Wang Fuk Court fire. Together, you helped raise HK$650,000 in just ten days, bringing total relief funds to HK$1.45 million. With your support, the Foundation has acted swiftly—delivering immediate aid and funding vital programmes that nurture the emotional recovery of children and young people most affected. Your compassion is giving families strength, stability, and renewed hope.
The International Youth Invitational Football Charity Cup
Kickstarted by Passion
This milestone event welcomed youth teams from Spain’s Malaga CF U20, Japan J-League Youth Select U2, Hubei, China U18 and Hong Kong, China U20. While the competition on the field was intense, the true and building friendships through football.
Run Run For Youth: CWB Challenge
Step Up for a Brighter Future for Our Young People
On 24 May , the “Run Run For Youth: CWB Challenge” united members, families, and the public for a meaningful cause. A first for The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Charitable Foundation, this run and walk event was fully supported by the CLUB and The Shaw Foundation Hong Kong. The event featured a 5km scenic run and a 3.5km family walk, all ending with a lively waterfront carnival at the Marina lawn and soccer pitch.
With 430 people joining the run and the walk, the event managed to raised $770,000. Funds raised will go towards the Foundation’s youth development and community inclusion initiatives. Thank you to all who joined and donated for they have made this debut run a truly uplifting success.
The CWBGCC Charitable Foundation Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament 2025
We are happy to share that The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Charitable Foundation Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament was held successfully on 24 October. 107 golfers & pros attended the event and helped raise more than $818,000 to support youth development programmes through the Charitable Foundation, reflecting our commitment to empowering future generations. Thank you once again to all golfers, pros, sponsors and donors and we hope to see you all again next year!
