Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Financial Controller in the daily administration of the Purchasing Department
  • Maintain the purchase order system, issue and monitor purchase orders for needed materials and service for different departments
  • Select right suppliers, maintain positive trade relationship and negotiate for favorable contract terms and service
  • Perform training and supervise purchasing personnel
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years related experience with at least 4 years at managerial role, preferably in club, hotel or Food & Beverage industry
  • Possess strategic thinking, strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • A team player with strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is a must
  • Good command of English and Chinese
