Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising the daily accounting operation and the preparation of Monthly Operating Statement
  • Assist in preparing all necessary schedules and breakdown for Monthly Financial Statement and year-end audit purposes
  • Assist in financial analysis / evaluation and budgets & forecast preparation
  • Check the allocation of accounts and all balances & reports from Accounts Payable Section and Accounts Receivable Section
  • Prepare Daily Cash Position Report and the Monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Student member of HKICPA/ACCA or related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience with at least 1 year in supervisory role, exposure in hotels or catering industries is preferable
  • Self-motivated, good organizational skills and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications and well versed with Excel macro
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English & Chinese
  • Duties at Weekends or Public Holidays for certain Club’s events may occasionally be required
  • Applicants with external audit experience will also be considered
  • Immediate available or short notice will be at advantage
