Commis Chef


  • Assist in maintaining a high standard of day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Assist in preparing and cooking kitchen menu items as directed by the supervisor
  • Ensure that stocks, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with the Club’s respective standard


  • Certificate or equivalent vocational training in Food & Beverage is highly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in food and beverage kitchen operations preferably in hotel or hospitality industry
  • Well-mannered, well-versed in kitchen hygiene and customer-oriented
  • Good team player with strong communication skills
  • Good command in spoken English and Chinese
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Immediate availability will be advantageous

  • Provide efficient and attentive food & beverages services to meet members’ satisfaction
  • Understand members’ needs and wants, introduce the menu, provide suggestions and take orders
  • Deal with members’ enquiries appropriately
  • Serve the members with a professional and courteous manner
  • Set up the restaurant to ensure products and condiments are ready
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of restaurant throughout the day


  • Secondary education or Diploma in food & beverage or related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Experience in club or hotel industry would be advantageous
  • A good team player with pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Customer service oriented and able to anticipate members’ needs with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Good command of spoken English and Cantonese
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
